A Turbine valve chest Casing installed at a Petrochemical Power Plant, was leaking steam.
The Client required in situ boring of the Valve Cage landing bores.
These bores were to be machined over-size by 0.5mm to accuracy of +or-0.01mm to achieve complete sealing between valve cage and turbine casing bore.
We carried out this job with on site Line Boring equipment and achieved PERFECT line bore alignment and Tolerance in the bores was achieved to the accuracy of 0.001mm!
We completed the job in 48 hrs. Saving the client a large sum of money and time.
